What we do

  • Investigation
Site investigations and reports on developments, conversions, defects and repairs.

  • Analysis
Engineering analysis to British Standards for approval to Building Regulations, Part A.

  • Design
Design and construction detailing in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.

The structural engineer is increasingly called upon today as we demand buildings that fit our needs more closely and perform to more stringent standards.

Our goal is to satisfy the requirements of Part A of the Building Regulations, to ensure that the stability and integrity of the building’s structure is appropriate to its use.

This means that the safety of a building is usually taken for granted by those who use it – but this is achieved only through careful design and construction.

We carry out the calculations and specify the relevant structural elements for each project, from foundations to roof, either working from architects’ drawings or data gathered from the site.
These are presented with detail sketches, drawing and schedules as necessary to aid the contractor and for submission to the licenced Building Inspector for approval.
